This area attracts the boaters, fishermen, jet ski enthusiasts, hunters and campers. Bass Fishermen come near and far for fishing tournaments. The summer of 2011 the Corps of Engineers dredged the sand out of the channel and pumped it along the riverside of the campground, as you can see this made for a very nice sand beach.
